Indian people have always been creative and imaginative. Similarly, to make his imagination come true, the film director Mr. Rajiv Anchal built a huge and amazing Jatayu statue. To realize this vision, Rajiv Ji chose the village of Chadyamangalam in the Kollam district of Kerala. This is also a reason behind Rajiv Ji choosing the place. According to mythological belief, this is the place where Ravana kidnapped Sita Ji and took her forcibly with him, then Jatayu sacrificed his life to protect him. Therefore Rajiv Ji chose this place. While protecting Sita Ji, Ravana also cut off one of the wings of Jatayu. Due to the wings of Jatayu being cut, the structure of the huge Jatayu statue has been constructed in view of that. According to the creator, Jatayu was the first motivator who pioneered the protection and honor of the female community.
