An unique thing for this that one would find in the infrastructure of this temple is the idol of Nandi. The Idol of Nandi is increasing its beauty on the back side of the temple. It is unique as well as contradictory in the sense that traditionally Nandi is always supposed to be located on the front side of temple. And Nagnath Jyotirlinga has the great attraction for tourists as pilgrims from all over India.

Firstly, there’s an interesting story behind this contradiction. As per the legend, a saint named Namdev along with his companions was enchanting psalms in front of the temple. That time, the senior priests of temple scolded them and instructed to enchant their prayers on the backyard of temple.
